So, jetzt ist es "amtlich", David Gower schrieb mir, dass Zanclodon (schuetzi) identisch mit seinem Batrachotomus kupferzellensis GOWER 2002 ist! Ebenso gehört mein Zahnfossil zu diesem Typus. Nach über 220 Millionen Jahren hat die Kupferzeller Raunechse endlich einen Namen. Ein gewaltiger Raubsaurier wie DROMEUS sehr gut geschrieben hat. Bleibt abzuwarten, ob sich ein Künstler mal daran setzt, ein Lebensbild dieses Dinosauriervetters aus Deutschland zu zeichnen.

that pictures you sent is of B. kupferzellensis! I think Zanclodon is really only known from teeth and nobody has done a detailed comparison with the teeth of Batrachotomus.
The systematics of rauisuchians is in a terrible mess! Nobody knows if Rauisuchidae, Poposauridae, and Prestosuchidae are good families and, if so, what belongs in them.
B. kupferzellensis is probably together with taxa that are generally thought to be Prestosuchidae/Rauisuchidae - probably not Poposauridae.
